FileWave is a cross-platform device management solution for education and enterprise. During my tenure, the company was transitioning from a native desktop interface to a modern web-based application — requiring thoughtful UI engineering and accessibility work.

The brief

Modern web admin for device management at scale.

I joined full-time in a Scrum environment. Most of my time was React front-end work: shipping features, fixing bugs, and collaborating with the UX team on interface improvements. I also spent some stretches on purely UX tasks, but the core of the role was front-end engineering.

I led a major refactor of the CSS architecture to SCSS for maintainability, and worked on accessibility enhancements with internal documentation toward WCAG compliance.
